VIP Protocol & Guest Notification Form

The University has numerous important visitors from around the world. These guests should receive extra attention to help make their time with us as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.

VIPs include:

  • Other University Presidents, Chancellors and Provosts or equivalent
  • Current and former high-ranking government officials such as heads of state, ambassadors, consuls general, etc.
  • Other governmental and religious officials 
  • High profile visitors
  • High ranking military officers

We want to make sure that each guest feels welcome. The following guidelines will help you and your team execute a successful event for your visiting guest.

Guest Registration Instructions

Upon notification of a VIP scheduled visit to campus, please proceed with the following steps:

  1. Notify your department head, chair and dean of incoming visitor.
  2. Complete the VIP Guest Notification Form. After this is submitted, the form will be automatically sent to the Protocol Officer in the President's Office. They will confirm your submission and contact you for additional information if needed.
  3. Notify other departments who will be meeting with the VIP during their visit.
  4. Follow the VIP Protocol Checklist.
